There is peace in Christ when we learn from him. Feel the love he feels for us. He bore our guilt (sin). Pay attention to his words. Let them come to life. If we recognize him as he really is, we will find peace in Christ. Let us go with him, through the streets of Galilee to Jerusalem, like broken arms, tear-filled eyes dry. If we live the way he lived, we will find peace in Christ.

Es gibt Frieden in Christus, wenn wir von ihm lernen. Spüre die Liebe, die er für uns empfindet. Er trug unsere Schuld (Sünde). Hab acht auf seine Worte. Lass sie lebendig werden. Wenn wir ihn erkennen, so wie er wirklich ist, dann finden wir Frieden in Christus. Lass uns mit ihm gehen, durch die Straßen von Galiläa nach Jerusalem, erleben wie gebrochene Arme tränen gefüllte Augen trocken. Wenn wir so leben, wie er gelebt hat, dann finden wir Frieden in Christus.

Find hope – Hoffnung finden

I was asked why are you doing this? Why do you blog? You could use your time more sensibly. For example, make more money, chill, shop… do something good to yourself.
I’m doing it. Who says that’s not good? It’s phantastic. It’s not exhausting, I chill somehow. For me, it makes sense.

There were times in my life, were I quit to hope. I just let her go. It has been a terrible time, there has been none who brought hope back, none couldn’t say, there you’ll find her. Thank God, hope came back into my life, by itself.

I had freed myself, loosened the lines and drifted slowly away off shore. On and on. Far away I suspected the great freedom and happiness. But in the endless expanse, detached, without a goal in mind, I lost courage quickly in a lack of orientation. And when the last strip of land had disappeared on the horizon hope was suddenly gone. I felt like a bunch of misery.
My gaze lost itself in the endless expanse, in order to have concrete in mind, I had to look at myself and my circumstances, what I did, of course. More and more. I noticed how much the little boat rocked in the waves. Fear came over me. I felt lonely and lost. I drove on the ocean of my life. Without engine, without rudder, there was no way to reverse.

But then she came, hope, she went on the water and stood there, knocked at my heart and I simply opened up. She lended her Hand, entered in and now, she’s living in me. Hope is alive.
She is like a gentlemen: Comes, knocks, waits until she is asked to come in. Will you open? Or are you so concerned with what is going on in you, that you do not even hear that hope is knocking on your heart? To fill it up?

Christ is the living hope. He wants to dwell in you through the Holy Spirit.  He will give you hope. And he has two rudders with him. With Jesus you can get back to the shore and get solid ground under your feet.

I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him.
Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.
(Romans 15, 13)

Ich wurde gefragt, warum machst du das? Warum bloggst du? Du könntest doch deine Zeit sinnvoller einsetzen, du könntest mehr Geld verdienen, chillen, shoppen… Dir was Gutes tun.
Mach ich doch! Wer sagt denn, dass das hier nicht gut ist? Ich finde es phantastisch. Es ist nicht anstrengend, ich chille irgendwie dabei. Für mich ist es sinnvoll.

Ich hatte Phasen in meinem Leben, in denen ich die Hoffnung losgelassen hatte. Es war eine schreckliche Zeit und da war keiner, der mir die Hoffnung wieder gebracht hätte oder mir gesagt hätte, dort findest du sie wieder. Gott sei Dank – kam die Hoffnung selbst zurück in mein Leben.

Ich hatte mich losgemacht, die Leinen gelöst und trieb langsam vom Ufer weg. Immer weiter und weiter… Dort draußen vermutete ich die große Freiheit und das Glück. Aber in der endlosen Weite, losgelöst, ohne Ziel vor Augen verlor ich schnell in der Orientierungslosigkeit den Mut und als der letzte Streifen Land am Horizont verschwunden war, war auch die Hoffnung plötzlich weg. Ich fühlte mich wie ein Häufchen Elend.
Mein Blick verlor sich in der endlosen Weite, um konkretes vor Augen zu haben, musste ich auf mich und meine Umstände schauen. Was ich natürlich tat. Immer mehr. Ich bemerkte wie sehr das kleine Boot im Wellengang schaukelte. Angst überkam mich. Einsam. Verloren. Trieb ich auf dem Ozean meines Lebens. Ohne Motor, ohne Ruder gab es keine Möglichkeit zur Umkehr.

Doch dann kam sie, die Hoffnung, sie ging auf dem Wasser und stand auf einmal da, klopfte an mein Herz und ich machte einfach auf. Sie reichte mir die Hand, kam herein und wohnt nun in mir. Die Hoffnung ist lebendig. Sie ist wie ein Gentlemen: kommt, klopft und wartet bis ihr geöffnet wird. Bist Du offen für sie? Oder bist Du so sehr mit dem beschäftigt, was in Dir abgeht, dass Du gar nicht hörst, dass die Hoffnung in Dein Herz möchte? Um es auszufüllen?

Christus ist die lebendige Hoffnung. Er will durch den Heiligen Geist in Dir wohnen. Dir Hoffnung geben. Und er hat zwei Ruder dabei. Mit Jesus kannst Du wieder ans Ufer zurück und festen Boden unter die Füße bekommen.

Der Gott der Hoffnung erfülle euch mit aller Freude und Frieden im Glauben, damit ihr immer reicher werdet an Hoffnung, durch die Kraft des heiligen Geistes.

What if… – Was wenn…

What if…

Recently I saw billboards with the following slogan

Nonsense! New Start, it would be nice.

Well, it works. So, when I once again – could push – Stop – Rewind – then …

… I would do something totally unpopular, but existential.  As a child or teen I would take God seriously and let his word, the Bible, be my decision support at the crossroads of life.
I guess things would have been better, from my early age on I would live my destiny. Having God as a encouraging, advicing, understanding friend is the best thing to happen as a youngster.

… I would not subordinate myself to an undifined ‚one‘ just because ‚one‘ expects it, or because it’s ‚trendy‘ or ‚it’s the way it always went‘ or ‚all the others‘ are doing it. I would listen to the small voice of my heart, to God who speaks to me in love and wisdom. That’s the best advice in the world!

… I would fight to live my dream, my passion, my calling. I feel it as a child, but I was afraid to share it, to believe in it, do demand it.  No longer would I surrender to ‚this does not work, we can not afford it‘ ‚or ‚this is an unprofitable art, do something decent‘. I would not agree with discouragement that no one sees my potential; that no one is interested in my dreams.
I would not be ashamed of my dreams. I would believe on my own, walk alone, vouch for it alone. God would have been on my side.

Unfortunately, I have met God as an adult, steps were taken, many important decisions were made. Some could be changed, some not. But very crucial things God always can put on ‚zero‘, on ‚Start‘, to ‚factory settings‘: debt. No matter how much crap we have built, no matter how old we are, God always listens if we ask for forgiveness. He fulfills our desire, eliminating the ‚waste‘ in our hearts, the ’scrap‘ in our lives.

From now – we can take him seriously and bring forth a revolution of good to our future. From now – we can stand up for our heart’s desires. As long asthey are in God’s plan, we have a powerful ally on our side. We are now able not to be resentful, but allowed and able to bring the burden of our own and others blame to God, he will take it and remove it. From now. New start possible.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation. – 2. Corinthians 5, 17-18

Was, wenn…

Kürzlich sah ich Plakatwände mit folgendem Slogan:

Quatsch, so was geht nicht! Neuanfangen, schön wär’s.

Geht schon. Also, wenn ich nochmals – Stopp – Rewind – drücken könnte, dann…

… würde ich etwas total unpopuläres, aber existentielles tun. Ich würde Gott schon als Kind oder Teeny ernstnehmen und sein Wort, also die Bibel, meine Entscheidungshilfe an den Kreuzungen des Lebens sein lassen. Ich glaube vieles wäre besser verlaufen, ich wäre dann schon als kleiner Mensch in meiner Bestimmung. Gott als Freund zu haben, der ermutigt, der berät, der versteht, ist das Beste was einem als junger Mensch passieren kann.

… würde ich mich nicht mehr dem ‚man‘ unterordnen, nur weil ‚man‘ das so macht, weil es ‚in‘ ist oder ’schon immer so war‘ oder die ‚anderen‘ auch so machen. Ich würde auf die Stimme meines Herzens hören, auf Gott, der in Liebe und Weisheit zu mir redet. Das ist die beste Beratung der Welt!

… würde ich dafür kämpfen das tun zu dürfen, was ich als den Traum meines Lebens bezeichne, meine Leidenschaft, meine Berufung. Ich fühlte es als Kind, doch ich traute mich nicht es wirklich auszusprechen, einzufordern, daran zu glauben. Ich würde mich nicht mehr mit ‚das geht nicht, das können wir uns nicht leisten‘ oder ‚das ist eine brotlose Kunst, mach was anständiges‘ abspeisen lassen. Ich würde mich nicht davon entmutigen lassen, dass keiner mein Potential sieht, dass keiner an meinen Träumen interessiert ist. Ich würde alleine glauben, alleine gehen, alleine dafür einstehen. Und Gott wäre auf meiner Seite.

Leider habe ich Gott erst als erwachsene Frau kennengelernt, viele Weichen waren gestellt, viele wichtige Entscheidungen im Leben schon getroffen. Manches ließ sich verändern,
manches nicht mehr. Doch sehr entscheidende Dinge, kann Gott immer wieder auf ‚Null‘, auf ‚Anfang‘, auf ‚Werkseinstellung‘ setzen: Schuld. Egal wie viel Mist wir gebaut haben,
egal wie alt wir sind, Gott hat immer ein offenes Ohr, wenn wir ihn um Vergebung bitten. Er erfüllt unseren Wunsch und beseitigt den ‚Müll‘ in unserem Herzen, den ‚Schrott‘ in
unserem Leben.
Wir können ihn ab jetzt ernstnehmen und es wird eine Revolution des Guten in unserer Zukunft bewirken.
Wir können ab jetzt für unsere Herzenswünsche aufstehen. Wenn sie in Gottes Plan sind, haben wir einen allmächtigen Verbündeten an unserer Seite.
Wir können ab jetzt nicht mehr nachtragend sein, sondern die Last der eigenen und fremden Schuld bei Gott abgeben. Er wird sie nehmen und entsorgen.

Ab jetzt. Neu anfangen möglich.

„Das bedeutet aber, wer mit Christus lebt, wird ein neuer Mensch. Er ist nicht mehr derselbe, denn sein altes Leben ist vorbei. Ein neues Leben hat begonnen!
Dieses neue Leben kommt allein von Gott, der uns durch das, was Christus getan hat, zu sich zurückgeholt hat.“ – 2. Korinther 5, 17

They wanted to prove that they could fix it by themselves.

… einfach keinen Bock auf Hilfe

Sie wollten beweisen, dass sie es alleine hinkriegen würden.

Wenn wir uns umschauen, sehen wir, dass wir noch immer vom Paradies träumen, aber bis jetzt nicht dort angekommen sind. Versagen zugeben? Niemals! Lieber leugnen, dass es Gott gibt oder Ersatzgötter machen, die können dem wahren und lebendigen Gott zwar nicht das Wasser reichen, aber wenigstens ist das Loch im Herzen ausgefüllt, der Platz den nur der lebendige Gott der Bibel wirklich ausfüllen kann, der Eigentümer der Wellness-Oase.

Der Sohn des Eigentümers meinte: „Dad, ich kann doch die Strafe auf mich nehmen, den Schaden wieder gut machen und für sie bürgen, dann wäre doch alles okay, oder?“

… betrayal of trust.

The owner of the spa oasis was angry and disappointed, after all, is theft not a trivial offense, but a crime and also the disregard of privacy is a border crossing with consequences. Both will be prosecuted.

The once good relationship with the owner, was destroyed. The perfect couple and all their offspring were banned, they lost all privileges, and thus the „all-inclusive worry-free package“. No more first-class service, now they had to tackle themselves. This was a dramatic break in their lives.

The owner loved the two, but he could not ignore the facts, then he would have to do it always and in all. This was no option. Wrong is wrong and deserves punishment.

He handed them a survival kit with suitable outdoor clothing and a few survival advices. When they were gone, he racked his brain, how to help the two. Was there a possibility the laws to remain faithful and to pardon yet? He tried this and that, but nothing worked, because the now imperfect couple and their offspring were free to choose and that was the sticking point. They had… continue reading

… zum Vertrauensbruch

Der Eigentümer der Wellness-Oase war sauer und enttäuscht, schließlich ist Diebstahl kein Kavaliersdelikt, sondern ein Verbrechen und auch das Missachten der Privatsphäre ist eine Grenzüberschreitung mit Folgen. Beides wird strafrechtlich verfolgt.

Die einst so gute Beziehung zum Eigentümer war zerstört. Das Traumpaar und alle ihre Nachkommen erhielten Hausverbot, sie verloren alle Privilegien und somit das „All-inklusive Rundum-Sorglos-Paket“. Keine first-class Bedienung mehr, nun mussten sie selbst anpacken. Das war ein krasser Einschnitt in ihr Leben.

Der Eigentümer liebte die beiden, aber er konnte auch nicht alle ‚Fünfe grade sein lassen‘, dann hätte er das immer und bei jedem tun müssen. Das ging nicht. Unrecht ist Unrecht und verdient Strafe.

Er gab ihnen noch ein Survival-Kit mit, passende Outdoorkleidung und ein paar Überlebenstipps. Als die beiden weg waren, zerbrach er sich den Kopf, wie er den beiden helfen und sie wieder zurückholen konnte. Gab es eine Möglichkeit den Gesetzen treu zu bleiben und sie dennoch zu begnadigen?

What about life? – Wohin mit dem Leben?

What about life?

Here today, gone tomorrow… then irrevocably away forever ?!

Life has a single thread. Whether you believe it or not, the goal remains the same for all: Death. End of life.

This is not the end! It goes on, for all. Relieved?

But not for all in the same manner. There are two choices

Eternally saved or lost forever.
Forever in God’s heavenly kingdom or lost forever in the middle of nowhere.

The oldest book in the world, the Bible, gives advice.
Joy or agony, during lifetime we choose the platform, but after our last breath nothing works.

Decision needed?

If you don’t decide, the agonizing platform is eternally yours, because none of us is without guilt.
Well, offenses must be punished, parents and teachers know it and this demands our law, so it is with God.

Question: Do you like to be ignored? – If we ignore God, then why should he pardon us?

BUT God loves mankind therefore he made a way specifically for those who prefer to have the ticket into never ending joy and peace.

God has so loved mankind that he gave his only Son. Now all who rely on the Son of God, should not perish but have eternal life. God sent the Son into the world not to condemn people but to save them. Whoever adheres to the Son of God, is not condemned. Those who do not adhere to him, is already condemned, because he has not accepted God’s only son. – John 3.16 – 18

Who is now connected with Jesus Christ, is no longer condemned of God.  – Romans 8.1

Ticket booking: Admit to yourself and God your failures and acknowledge Jesus, who paid your debt. God promises he will anyone pardon who turns to Jesus and asks him for forgiveness. Jesus has the power to reconcile us to God and to open the door to God’s heavenly world so we can enter in. Now and forever. – What’s it like? Devine. Sublime. Marvelous. God will dwell with men.

I heard a loud voice from the throne (God) : „Look, God’s dwelling is now among the people. He will dwell with them and they will be his people and God himself will be with them! He will wipe away all their tears, and there will be no death and no sorrow and no crying and no more pain. After the first world with all their mischief is gone forever. „- Revelation chapter 21

Wohin mit dem Leben?

Heute hier, morgen dort … und dann für immer fort?!

Das Leben hat einen einzigen roten Faden, so verworren es auch sein mag. Egal ob man glaubt oder nicht, das Ziel bleibt für alle gleich: Lebensende. Tod.

Stopp! Das ist nicht das Ende! Es geht weiter, für alle. Erleichtert?
Aber nicht für alle in derselben Weise. Es gibt genau zwei Möglichkeiten:

Ewig gerettet oder ewig verloren.
Ewig in Gottes himmlischem Reich leben oder für immer verloren im Nirgendwo.

Das älteste Buch der Welt, die Bibel, gibt Auskunft darüber. Freude oder Qual, die Plattform bestimmen wir während des Lebens, solange wir atmen muss die Entscheidung fallen, danach geht nichts mehr.

Entscheidung nötig?

Wenn du nichts tust, ist dir die qualvolle Plattform für immer und ewig sicher, denn keiner von uns Menschen ist ohne Schuld.
Vergehen müssen geahndet werden, das verlangt unsere Rechtsprechung, so ist es auch bei Gott. Unsere Strafe: Sein im Nirgendwo, das muss schrecklich sein,  für immer.

Doch Gott liebt seine Schöpfung und uns, seine Geschöpfe. Er hat den Ausweg geschaffen für all diejenigen, die lieber das Ticket zur niemals endenden Freude haben möchten.

Gott hat die Menschen so sehr geliebt, dass er seinen einzigen Sohn hergab. Nun werden alle, die sich auf den Sohn Gottes verlassen, nicht zugrunde gehen, sondern ewig leben. Gott sandte den Sohn nicht in die Welt, um die Menschen zu verurteilen, sondern um sie zu retten. Wer sich an den Sohn Gottes hält, wird nicht verurteilt. Wer sich aber nicht an ihn hält, ist schon verurteilt, weil er Gottes einzigen Sohn nicht angenommen hat. -Johannes 3,16-18

Wer nun mit Jesus Christus verbunden ist, wird von Gott nicht mehr verurteilt.
Römerbrief 8,1

Ticket buchen: Dir selbst und Gott deine Fehler eingestehen und Jesus als den anerkennen, der deine Schuld bezahlt hat. Gott verspricht, er wird jeden, wirklich jeden begnadigen, der sich an Jesus wendet und ihn um Vergebung bittet. Jesus hat die Vollmacht uns mit Gott zu versöhnen und die Tür in Gottes himmlische Welt für uns zu öffnen. – Wie es dort ist? Himmlisch. Herrlich. Gerecht. Gott wird bei den Menschen wohnen.

Ich hörte eine laute Stimme vom Thron (Gottes) her rufen: „Siehe, die Wohnung Gottes ist nun bei den Menschen! Er wird bei ihnen wohnen und sie werden sein Volk sein und Gott selbst wird bei ihnen sein. Er wird alle ihre Tränen abwischen, und es wird keinen Tod und keine Trauer und kein Weinen und keinen Schmerz mehr geben. Denn die erste Welt mit ihrem ganzen Unheil ist für immer vergangen.“  – Offenbarung, Kapitel 21
