Who has money has power. Who has no money is powerless. That’s why…

… poor people are exposed to injustice worldwide, because the legal systems of their country – through police, courts and laws – are not really protect, according to the United Nations study. The fear of being a victim of violence is as common to poor people as the lack of access to clean water and food, medicine or education.

… every euro, every penny is well invested in the work of the International Justice Mission. With it many organizations, initiatives and foundations fight against poverty. They provide water, food, medicine, education, microcredit and much more. But in order for people to be able to fully develop their potential – to live independently, they need security through legal protection and a functioning judicial system.
Rescue victims – find offenders – making people strong – strengthening legal systems – these are the four pillars of hope, these are the four pillars on which the work of the International Justice Mission stands, worldwide.

Wer Geld hat, hat Macht. Wer kein Geld hat, ist machtlos. Deshalb…

…sind arme Menschen weltweit dem Unrecht wehrlos ausgesetzt, weil die Rechtssysteme ihres Landes – durch Polizei, Gerichte und Gesetze – nicht wirklich schützen, so die Studie der Vereinten Nationen. Die Angst, Opfer von Gewalt zu werden, ist für arme Menschen so alltäglich wie der mangelnde Zugang zu sauberem Wasser und Lebensmitteln, zu Medizin oder zu Bildung.

Wer Geld hat, hat Macht. Wer kein Geld hat, ist machtlos. Deshalb…

…ist jeder Euro, jeder Cent gut in die Arbeit der International Justice Mission investiert. Mit ihr kämpfen viele Organisationen, Initiativen und Stiftungen gegen Armut. Sie stellen Wasser, Nahrung, Medizin, Bildung, Mikrokredite und vieles mehr zur Verfügung. Doch damit Menschen ihr Potential – selbstständig zu leben – tatsächlich voll entfalten können, brauchen sie Sicherheit durch Rechtsschutz und ein funktionierendes Justizsystem.

Plant trees for the planet

9 years old, Felix Finkbeiner recognizes the polar bears are affected by climate change and even the tree population of the earth. „It is about the future of the earth. What is not solved now will harm us later“, he says. He wants to plant what was recklessly cut down. Shortly after this statement, Felix planted the first tree. Felix traveles around the world, educates children’s ambassadors, is guest-speaker in front of the UN… And writes a dispute: Everything would be good.

His role models are Luther (If I knew that tomorrow the world is going down, I would still plant an apple tree) and Stefan Hesse (Preserve Society the way  we can be proud of it).

Felix  believes in his idea and founds an organization „plants for the planet“. Original idea: ‚plant a trillion trees‘, but now a lot more trees are needed. 150 pieces for each person, so that CO2 emissions can be managed. A wood which is about half the area of Germany is already planted. An great vision of a young man who inspires  hope.

Bäume pflanzen für den Planeten

Mit 9 Jahren erkennt Felix Finkbeiner nicht nur die Eisbären sind vom Klimawandel betroffen sind, sondern auch der Baumbestand der Erde.
Es geht um die Zukunft aller Lebewesen. Was jetzt nicht gelöst wird, wird uns schaden, sagt er. Er will anpflanzen was rücksichtslos abgeholzt wurde.
Kurze Zeit nach dem Referat pflanzt Felix den ersten Baum. Felix reist um die Welt, bildet Kinder-Botschafter aus, spricht vor der UNO… und schreibt eine Streitschrift: Alles würde gut.

Seine Vorbilder sind Luther (Wenn ich wüsste, dass Morgen die Welt untergeht, würde ich heute noch ein Apfelbäumchen pflanzen)
und Stefan Hesse (Gesellschaft so bewahren, dass wir auf sie stolz sein können)

Er glaubt an seine Idee und gründet eine Organisation „plants for the planet“. Ursprüngliche Idee: Eine Billion Bäume pflanzen, doch inzwischen werden noch viel mehr Bäume benötigt. 150 Stück für jeden Menschen, damit der CO2 Ausstoß in den Griff zu bekommen ist. Ein Baumbestand,
der etwa die halbe Fläche der BRD ausmacht wurde bereits gepflanzt. Eine Idee, ein Organisation, ein junger Mensch, der Hoffnung lebt.
